Princefield College and Research is an independent charitable not for profit organization developed as a specialized university college. The College was conceived in 2008 to undertake research and professional education in nursing and allied health sciences. It is located on an approximately 23 acre land 15 kilometers east of Ho situated in Adaklu District (formerly Adaklu-Anyigbe District) along the main Ho-Aflao road in the Volta Region with an enterprise head office based in Accra. In 2013 completed the general requirements of accreditation with the National Accreditation Board. Admissions for 2015 begins now and school reopens in September.
Vision: Establish an internationally recognised tertiary institution and research centre that develops future professionals with entrepreneurial abilities through sound, evidence-based teaching methods and policy relevant analysis.
Mision: To become the preferred training institution for Medical and health management sciences in Africa; reputed for producing high quality graduates and ethical health research and analysis contributing to scientific knowledge; and providing platforms and input into national, regional and global health policy and training. As a general principle Princefield aims to: 1. Promote honest and ethical conduct in all academic transactions including personal and professional relationships with colleagues, staff and students 2. Promote compliance with applicable national laws, rules and regulations 3. Help inculcate a culture of honesty and accountability for the College and provide mechanisms for reporting unethical conduct.The tenets of the code applies equally to all staff members, full-time and adjunct and to all visiting staff from abroad and full-time and temporary staff members on sabbatical from other universities and colleges.
